Yes, you can establish a per-meal budget for users, ensuring you stay within your company's food budget. Employees can pay any amount exceeding the budget by adding their own credit card. Note that the company budget doesn't apply to “Chowmill admins” who often order for others.

Can I manage users from the platform, i.e., add/delete users?

Yes, as a Chowmill admin, you can manage all your users directly from the platform. This includes adding new hires, removing employees who have left, and more. We also assist with initial onboarding by inviting your users on behalf of the facilities team.

Can I have multiple Chowmill admins?

Yes, you can have multiple Chowmill admins to support your workplace and administrative teams.

Do you have live reports for leadership?

Yes, as a Chowmill admin, you have access to live reports and data through the Chowmill platform. You can monitor your food program’s performance, including participation rates, costs, reviews, and restaurant selections.

Do you support multiple deliveries, i.e., delivering to multiple buildings or satellite offices?

Yes, we support deliveries to multiple locations, allowing each user to choose their default location and view menus for their preferred location.

Can I set a Chowmill admin per location?

Yes, we can assign a point of contact or admin per location to streamline the delivery process.

How soon are the menus made available?

Menus are made live by the end of the day on Monday for the following week, giving employees ample time to order in advance. Users can also use the calendar view to check their orders and see which days they haven’t ordered for.

How easy is it for people with dietary restrictions to find their options?

Users can set up their profiles with dietary preferences and restrictions, making it easy to find suitable options. The “Top Picks for You” section dynamically updates to show personalized food choices. 

 

Does Chowmill provide an option to customize meals?

Yes, you can request customizations which are shared directly with the restaurant/vendors.

Can I place orders for the leadership or executive team?

Yes, as a Chowmill admin, you can place orders for leadership, the executive team, or anyone else. You can add their names while ordering, and we label the meals with their information for easy identification.

How do you help employees with reminders to order on time?

The Chowmill platform includes automatic reminders via SMS, email, and Slack to help remind employees to order on time. Each user can set and manage their own notification preferences, reducing the burden on office managers and workplace teams.

Can I share the menu with guests?

Yes, as a Chowmill admin, you can share menus with guests, allowing them to select their own meals. You can add their email or share a link directly with them.

Can we recommend our favorite restaurants?

Absolutely! We will work together to create a custom marketplace of restaurants tailored to your team’s preferences, ensuring a highly-rated food program. You can request and invite vendors/restaurants directly from the platform.

How many restaurants are available for us to order from?

At Chowmill, we design and curate daily menus tailored to your demographics and eating preferences, ensuring an all-inclusive experience for even the pickiest eaters. For example, a company with 400 employees can choose from 6+ restaurants daily without any repeats for 30 days! The platform is flexible, allowing for fewer restaurants on low-attendance days and more on busier days, helping to keep costs down.

As a customer, can I choose my restaurant selections?

Absolutely! We create custom menus based on your requirements, favorite cuisines, restaurants, and dishes. We also help lower your costs by identifying highly-rated and budget-friendly restaurants/vendors.

Can I request certain restaurants not to be included?

Yes, we can exclude specific restaurants for you. This could be due to low ratings, repeated mistakes, or high costs, ensuring only the best options for you and your team.

Do you have a process to share feedback with restaurants and vendors?

Yes, employees rate their food after each delivery, and their feedback, along with ratings, is shared anonymously with the restaurants. This feedback is included in their reports and dashboards, allowing them to see and respond to feedback in real time. Our dedicated restaurant team also reviews ratings and performance with vendors regularly.

Can I have certain restaurants repeated more frequently?

Absolutely! We can mark your favorites and give them more frequent turns.

Can we try restaurants from other nearby cities?

Yes, you are not limited to local restaurants. You can experience options from nearby cities as well. We use time, not distance, to factor in restaurant selections for you.

What kinds of restaurants do you partner with?

We partner with a diverse selection of vendors, including mom-and-pop restaurants, national brands, popular and trending eateries. We work with you to design selections based on your and your employees' preferences.

Can we request certain foods to be available every day, e.g., salads and sandwiches?

Yes, we can configure your account to ensure certain types of meals, such as salads and sandwiches, are available every day. We also have the flexibility to make changes on the fly.

Are we able to request changes once the menus are live?

Yes, we can make adjustments for you and notify users of any updates on your behalf.

Do you have vegan, gluten-free, halal, etc., options?

Yes, we create custom menus based on your dietary requirements, including gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free, and halal options. We also work with vendors to create custom dishes that support multiple restrictions, such as healthy halal options from American cuisine
